big upsell days are celebrated, and shoutouts if you had a good day are nice. good culture and team was easy to get along with. manager is very flexible with scheduling, and a good manager overall. trainer was great, but i feel like training should have been longer than 2 weeks, there is a lot to it. a typical day starts with a meeting where goals are set and various parts of a tech's job are discussed. Zerorez seemed like a good place, wasn't there for too long though. So you could go weeks with getting terribly scheduled routes and expect to hit your commission goals off of that. If the higher sellers are working, expect to get a terrible booked route day. Compensation on commission heavily relies on which techs are off work, and how management wants to assign the routes. You’ll get a predetermined rate upon hire and once you hit your commission is sorta when your compensation goes down the drain. THE REASON THEY ADVERTISE EVENINGS IS BECAUSE DISPATCH WILL SEND TECHS HOME AND ADD MORE JOBS ONTO YOUR ROUTEĬompensation is mediocre at best. Most of them are great with communication while you’re out and need things changed on your job. And a lot of them expect the new guys to keep the vans clean for them, so a lot of the techs will leave their vans in terrible condition for the next guy.ĭispatch was awesome, except one bad egg.

And some techs give off a vibe that make you feel unwelcome or you’re a burden before even getting a chance to know you. It’s obvious these guys get favoritized above the newer folks. Vetted techs will get obviously better routes when you’re told that “we try our best to split the routes as evenly as possible.” The highest paying routes will be distributed amongst the ego boys while all the other techs get the scraps. A lot of these guys who’ve been there a while have a huge chip on their shoulders, and management does a great job with feeding into their ego’s. The techs you get assigned to can be hit or miss. When you start training you are assigned to a tech. To start off, let me touch on how this place works.
